Well, as you might have noticed, my “mental health day” turned into a “mental health month and a half” as it’s been a hot minute since I’ve posted here on the blog. My Instagram feed is the only platform that’s gotten my attention lately.

Prescription to Blog
You should be hearing from me here with a little greater frequency now, though— because I literally have been prescribed per doctor’s orders to write for my blog at least 5 minutes per day. The Hubs has been charged with holding me to it for accountability purposes.
As usual, I have so many things I would love to be sharing with you all at once. But, for now I’m just going to write what hits the keys, and not stress about it.

Sunny Sunday
So, hello my peeps. I hope you’ve all been having a lovely Sunday. For the first time, I’m outside sitting on the front porch with the laptop (at Captain Curl’s suggestion) writing while taking in the sun dancing on the leaves and lighting up the yard and the field across the way. The perfume of the flowers blooming next to me is saturating the air. I don’t know what it is, but this bush has tiny little clusters of lavender trumpets. The birds are singing and everything is calm. I could get used to this. Thank God for Spring, can I get an “Amen?!”
Happy Easter
It’s Easter Sunday and we spent much of the day with family. We joined Captain Curl’s dad and step-mom at a church they’ve been attending in their town, then we all went over to my brother-in-law’s to spend a little time with the family. We had a lovely little cookout lunch and an Easter egg hunt for the little ones. My sister-in-law was wearing the most beautiful dress. It’s really been a beautiful day.

There’s more news I want to share with you in conjunction with that doctor’s prescription I mentioned above. But I’m going to let that rest until tomorrow. I’ll be posting about it soon. Take care, my people.
